About

Hello to one and all,

Namaste!

Kuzo zangpo la!

Bonjour!

Anyeonghaseyo!

My name is Aakanksha Singh. I am from Mumbai in Maharashtra in India. I am utterly passionate about anything related with literature be it novels, plays or poems. Off late, I have become interested in reading from all over the world particularly Asian literature and reading translation works!

My favourite pastime is to just sit back with a cup of tea and immerse in a story or a poem.

The second favourite would be to go on book hunting adventures to any nook and corner most specifically second hand bookshops that are always a delight and give you many surprises and treasures you did not know existed!

Other hobbies include travelling, music, blogging, cooking (till the time I get fed up of it as a daily chore!) and gardening!

That’s all for now!

Hope you enjoy your stay here.

Take a look at the litty things I get upto on Pinterest:

  5. I feel revived whenever I meet [even when remotely like this] someone who not only “likes” reading books [ whatever be the subject, since I am my self quite omnivorous] but can so vividly describe what one has liked while reading the book [ an area I am too weak].
It is even greater pleasure to note that you are able to give written words to your own feelings and thoughts.

    • Thank you so much for your kind words on my love for books and my writing style. It is much appreciated and it means a lot to me. I hope you will keep dropping by every now and then.
Thank you so much for visiting my blog. 🙂
